Vision Statement

In our vision, Prism Psychiatric Group stands as a symbol of clarity, compassion, and empowerment. We are dedicated to creating an environment where individuals can freely express their authentic selves, unburdened by stigma or judgment.

As we look through the prism, we anticipate a world where mental health is approached holistically, integrating innovative medication management, alternative modalities, all with a deep understanding of each person’s narrative. We envision a brighter, more vibrant future where mental wellness is not just a goal but a reality, and Prism Psychiatric Group is at the forefront of this transformative journey.

To support work-life balance for our team, Prism Psychiatric Group will now be closed on Fridays. This change allows our clinicians the space to maintain a healthy balance between their professional and personal lives, ultimately enhancing the care we provide.

Please keep this in mind when considering the status of refill requests or general inquiries, as our 48-business-hour response time applies to business hours only (Monday through Thursday). While clinicians may respond sooner at their discretion, we kindly ask for your understanding and patience.

Thank you for your continued support as we strive to prioritize wellness for both our team and our clients!

Our Mission

Like a prism disperses light into vibrant colors, we aim to illuminate the unique aspects of each person’s mental health journey, recognizing the diversity of experiences and needs. By offering a range of services tailored to the individual, we strive to be a catalyst for positive change, helping our clients navigate their paths to improved mental wellness.

Meet Kelsey

Hey there! I’m Kelsey Lamb, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges.

I’ve been in the mental health profession since 2011 and have been practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2017. For the past five years, I’ve worked for an organization that’s helped me grow and gain confidence in ways I never imagined when I first started.

Now, I’m thrilled to embark on a new journey with Prism Psychiatric Group, where I’ll bring along all the skills and experiences I’ve gathered along the way.

Let me tell you a bit about my life outside the office! I’m married with two wonderful kiddos and three adorable goldendoodles who keep our home lively and filled with love. We’re huge fans of all things University of Iowa.

When we’re not at Carver or Kinnick, you can find us exploring new destinations, both near and far. Traveling has always been a passion of ours, and we love discovering new cultures and experiences together. Cruising is one of our favorite ways to explore the world.

Above all, I’m looking forward to finding that perfect balance between my career and being the mom and wife I strive to be.

It’s an exciting new chapter for me, and I can’t wait to be a part of your mental health journey.

Meet Noel

Noel Adams, ARNP, PMHNP-BC provides mental health medication management services to patients across a lifespan (age 6+). She has over a decade of experience in healthcare and has helped individuals navigate their mental health in both hospital and clinic settings. With additional training in integrative and functional psychiatry, Noel focuses on the root causes of mental health challenges rather than simply addressing symptoms.

She is dedicated to utilizing cutting-edge care in the field of mental health medication treatment, and prides herself on providing patient-centered care unique to each individual. Her mission is to ensure that each person in her care feels as though they are empowered.

“Collaboration is paramount. This is a partnership, and I want my patients to feel as though we are in this together.”

She recognizes that no person or situation is identical and their care shouldn’t be either. You are not a number.

By blending evidence-based psychiatric treatments with principles of integrative health, Noel creates individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Whether addressing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, or other mental health concerns, she emphasizes the importance of lifestyle, nutrition, and personalized interventions to support optimal brain health and overall well-being. This comprehensive approach ensures every patient receives not only effective treatment but also the tools and strategies needed to thrive long-term.

Noel has also received Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) training through the University of Iowa to provide specialized, compassionate care for survivors of sexual assault.

Meet Lindsay

Hello! I am Lindsay Schock, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I started my career in healthcare at the age of 15 and have been passionate about helping others. Before moving to Iowa, I worked in emergency psychiatric services at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

I moved to Iowa in 2022 and have been practicing as a nurse practitioner for over 3 years. I believe in a team approach while using evidence-based practice to manage symptoms for diagnoses including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. Outside work, I have a husband, two young children, and an Australian Shepherd named Luna. A few of my favorite hobbies include running, puzzles, and reading.

I am excited to embark on this new adventure at Prism Psychiatric Group and cannot wait to be alongside your mental health journey!

Lindsay Schock, ARNP, PMHNP-BC
